Domestic Violence In-Service Training

The Morris County Prosecutor's Office, in cooperation with the Morris County Public Safety Training Academy, will be providing a new training initiative which will be mandatory for all sworn police officers within Morris County.

This new training initiative entitled "Morris County Domestic Violence and Law Enforcement Training" will be conducted eight (8) times throughout 2010 at the Morris County Public Safety Training Academy. Each training session will now be a "full day" of training that will satisfy the statutory requirement for the annual Domestic Violence Training as well as other aspects of criminal investigations and the prosecution process.

This new full day training will greatly improve areas that make prosecuting all types of criminal cases (inclusive of Domestic Violence cases) better, more interactive for the police officers, more educational and practical. Many of the blocks of instruction will include local police officers who will provide their expertise and practical experiences to the topic areas taught.

Out-of-County: $25.00 per attendee
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
