INCIDENT RESPONSE TO TERRORIST BOMBINGS
AWARENESS LEVEL TRAINING

This Department of Homeland Security, Border and Transportation Security, Office for Domestic Preparedness program is a four-hour awareness-level course designed to provide basic instruction in Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), with a focus on explosives and incendiary devices as terrorist weapons. The course includes classroom presentations that address potential terrorist targets in U.S. communities, common military and commercial explosives (available to terrorists), Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and response procedures that support safe and effective operations during bomb incidents.

This program is intended for law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians or other local or state positions handling responses to bomb incidents.
