FIELD TRAINING OFFICER (FTO)
The Penn State Justice and Safety Institute (JASI) are pleased to work with our co-sponsor to bring you this three-day interactive Field Training Officer (FTO) course. Field training officers in law enforcement and the training officers in corrections are vital members of your department. They are responsible for training new officers and determining additional training requirements for those officers. A properly trained FTO can help you make sound personnel decisions and avoid future performance and legal issues.
