LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS FLYING ARMED
This two-hour in-service seminar is to familiarize Law Enforcement Officers with the proper methods for transporting firearms and procedures to be followed when flying armed. The Law Enforcement Officer will also learn the dangers of firearms discharged on board aircraft and will be made aware of the flight crews' role and training in the event of a disturbance by a passenger.
This program is an FAA requirement for any armed Law Enforcement Officer who is required to fly aboard aircraft as a function of their official capacity.
