- ETHICS FOR THE POLICE EXECUTIVE

This two day course gives law enforcement executives with the rank of Lieutenant or higher the training and tools for developing ethical decision making skills both in themselves and their fellow officers. It focuses on choices and decisions that officers are confronted with on a daily basis and is a key ingredient in developing and maintaining an ethical climate within any police agency. Topics will include the state of American society, ethics as philosophy, basic ethics, ethical decision making in actual field situations, ethical choices, adult training and instructional techniques refresher and a practical exercise in a scenario format. This program is specifically intended for law enforcement executives at the rank of Lieutenant or higher.
Note: This program is co-hosted by the Somerset ad Essex County Police Academies. Course will be held at the Morris County Public Safety Academy.
Registration for this course is strictly limited to 13 participants from Morris County - only 1 individual per department.
