EFFECTIVE INTERVIEWING SKILLS

This is a two-day practical learn-by-doing program focusing on maximizing information gathering in conducting non-confrontational interviews. Although interrogation techniques are effective in many circumstances that confront law enforcement officers, in many situations non-confrontational interview techniques can be more effective. This program provides training in non-confrontational interview techniques. The program combines lectures with performance workshops in which the participants conduct portions of an interview and have faculty critique their performances.
