THE EFFECTIVE DEATH INVESTIGATION

This three-day seminar is geared toward police officers and medical examiner personnel whose primary responsibility it is to respond to and investigate deaths. This seminar will develop skills in death investigation by expanding the attendee's base of knowledge in death scene protocol, legal considerations, laboratory services, the role of the medical examiner, wound identification, the role of the funeral director, interviewing strategies, and the use of polygraph forensic anthropology, crime scene processing, evidence collection, evidence processing and new developments in forensic technology.
