COMPUTERIZED COLLISION DIAGRAMING
This course will teach the traffic crash investigator how to create specialized maps of crash situations using a computer. It is an in-depth “hands-on” course in which students will use a computer to construct scaled maps of detailed traffic crash situations from data found at a crash site. The completed maps can be produced on a large format plotter or printer for later use as demonstrative evidence in future litigation. The Advanced Computerized Collision Diagramming (ACCD) course will be taught using AutoSketch Version 9.0 software. Since there are only a few differences between Version 9.0 and earlier versions, those candidates trained on earlier versions can attend. Since each candidate has already been trained at the CCD (Computerized Collision Diagramming) level, they have already received their copy of the AutoSketch software. However, students wishing to upgrade to the newest version should advise IPTM at the time of registration.
