INTERNET TOOLNG

Utilizing Internet Explorer and Google, basic concepts, features and search techniques of the internet will be covered in this course. Topics include: History of the internet; Internet protocols; Domain Name system (DNS); the Uniform Resource Locator (URL); Internet and Extranets; browsing the World Wide Web; search engines and electronic mail. Participants will also be taught how to navigate the web for police and informational sites. All courses require that students be prepared with a Formatted 3.5 HD diskette, pen, and paper.

Class size is strictly limited to 16.
