ASP INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

This course will serve as an initial certification course and as a re-certification course for those who currently are ASP Tactical Baton and Handcuff Instructors. Participants must supply their own duty equipment (16", 21", 26" or 31" ASP Baton, ASP SideBreak Scabbard, and ASP Tactical Handcuffs).

An intensive three day course, this course will consist of both classroom and practical exercises. At the conclusion of the course, the participant must pass a written examination, and demonstrate practical application proficiency.

AIC Training is 16 hours in length. Classes are conducted from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.

Class size is limited to 40 students and limited to one individual per agency.
