SIDE HANDLE BATON INSTRUCTOR COURSE

Pre-requisite: Must present certification of successful completion of a Basic Course.

This three-day course on the use of the side handle baton will provide advanced skills to the officer who desires to instruct others in its use. The student must have certification in a Basic Side Handle Baton Course, show proficiency in the use of the baton as well as the ability to instruct. To successfully complete the course, each student must prepare a lesson plan and course outline.

Note: Participants should wear gym clothing and bring side handle baton, belt holder and Trumbull stop donut.
