AERIAL OPERATIONS
The Aerial Operations course curriculum will include the operation and use of the Aerial Truck Apparatus. Topics to be discussed will include objectives of the truck company, Standard Operating Procedures, type of aerial ladder apparatus, responding with the apparatus, the approach, positioning and placement of the unit. Safety procedures, climbing techniques, rescue from the unit, ventilation, elevated streams, and utilizing aerial streams in both an offensive and defensive attack will also be covered. This course is a six-hour theory course utilizing a power-point presentation.

Class size: Minimum 14 students - Maximum 30 students

PRE-REQUISITE: Successful completion of Fire Fighter 1

Documentation of successful completion must accompany registration if not conducted by our staff at Morris County Public Safety Training Academy.
